She's Trying. The fact that she's still here means she has to be a little more self-aware and useful and functional, right? So she's in the kitchen... trying to chop fruit.
She is holding the knife All Wrong and looks like she is going to cut herself by accident at any moment.
[it's probably not a surprise to see Sharon bustling into the kitchen this early in the morning. she is, after all, a servant by nature. while she won't be cooking any meals as lavish as the one she prepared the day before, she could at least fix breakfast for anyone who happened to be in the area at the same time as her]
[but she stops in the doorway when she sees Ange at the countertop. when she notices the incorrect position of the blade, and how deadly close it is to slicing through a poor unsuspecting finger]
[WORDLESSLY, SHE CROSSES THE ROOM, and then reaches out to place her hand on the back of Ange's]
My lady, I'm afraid you're going to cut yourself at this rate.
Of course I don't mind. I wouldn't offer if I did. In fact, I'd say knowing how to wield a knife is one of the most important skills a young woman could learn.

she looks puzzled at the sudden grasp, then registers that she has the knife in that hand and jumps a little, putting the knife and hand firmly on the counter.

... Um, well... I suppose... not. I have been used to fending for myself for awhile, so... it is hard to adjust.
Oh... yes, of course. I... I would not consider myself shy either, so to speak, but it can be a little difficult to ask for help in particular, don't you think?
