[So. It's been a long week! And Ange has not forgotten how Elsa had been there for her and comforted her.
So quietly, rather late at night, she goes to knock at her door.
Sorry if you were sleeping, Elsa... Here's Ange, knocking, expression blearily tired and emotions muted as if stuffed very very far back into a corner.]
[elsa is a very light sleeper. on account of. singing voices, and a very cute sister.
speaking of very cute sisters, she's out of the hammock in a flash, and opening the door with a smile. ange. she hasn't forgotten what she said, happily.
without another word, she gestures ange inside.]
Come on. We won't be able to share the hammock with the rule this week, but we can stay close on the floor.
[even if ange can't see it in the low light, she can definitely hear the smile in elsa's response.]
Hmm. You know, I think I just say what I'd want to hear if I was in your situation. So. You know. You're already really helping me out by being my inspiration for kindness.
[elsa waits, still as a statue, until she can hear ange's breathing change patterns to a slow, sleeping breath. it's not until then that she allows herself to slip off, too, into a quiet rest.]
[Wherever Elsa is chilling, Ange is showing up! It's later in the day now, and her bird is nestling in her hair. She's already changed into this, and seems very comfy as she wanders around.
Pants are a great invention and she wants to wear them a lot now.
ANYWAY.
Wherever she finds Elsa, she brightens and lifts a hand to wave.]
elsa, on the other hand, is dressed rather conservatively, in a darker dress, hair pinned up. a snow leopard is wending its way around her legs, and looks up at the sound of Ange's voice.

[She follows, a small, tentative smile on her face.]
You do not have to sit on the floor with me. In truth, just the company is more than enough...!

dragging her pillow and blanket out of the hammock, she gestures over to a corner, and sits.] Here.
I'll stay with you until you can fall asleep, okay?
no subject
Pretty much as close as she thinks is safe where she won't move and accidentally zap her.]
... You are so kind, Miss Elsa. How does one become as kind as you are...?
no subject
[elsa knows just how to cheat, now. she stuffs her pillows in between the two of them, and leans against them—and ange.]
Ta da. No shocks.
I don't know how kind I am—but I think you're especially kind, Ange. Why would you think you aren't?
no subject
And quietly, she sighs.]
It is just... different, I suppose. Spending time with you feels... so warming. You always know just what to say to make me feel better.
But I think if I could come to be even a little bit as kind as you are when I'm older, I'll be really happy, too.

Don't you think that's kind of you?
[she nudges the pillows between them.]

Miss Elsa, I think I cannot keep up with you at all...!
[She's absolutely smiling a little though.]
Thank you. Sincerely and truly... you have helped me so much just by being yourself.
no subject
Do you think you can sleep, like this? We probably won't be together in the morning, unfortunately...
no subject
[And as if to confirm, she yawns.]
If it is all right... I will come find you again, even though we won't be together! We won't wake up together, but... we will both still be here.
no subject
[she snuggles a little closer—or as close as the pillow boundary will allow.]
Sleep well, Ange.
no subject
[She sighs out a soft little breath, and lets her eyes slide shut.]
Thank you again.
[Like this, it really isn't bad to sleep at all.]

week 5, Monday

Wherever she finds Elsa, she brightens and lifts a hand to wave.]
Miss Elsa...! Hello!

elsa, on the other hand, is dressed rather conservatively, in a darker dress, hair pinned up. a snow leopard is wending its way around her legs, and looks up at the sound of Ange's voice.
elsa gives a little wave, expression drawn.]
Hello, Ange. How are you?
no subject
Oh, I am all right! [As good as anyone can be in murderville. Rather--]
Are you all right...? You look tired, Miss Elsa.
no subject
Did you need me for something?
[rather than her outgoing but quiet self, this elsa is considerably more withdrawn—soft-spoken—and almost hesitant.]
no subject
... Well, yes, I suppose so... I wanted to come check on you.
After everything... I just wanted to see if you needed company, I suppose.
no subject
...If it's your company, Ange, I think I wouldn't mind it at all.
no subject
... I'm very glad to hear that.
In that case... [hmmm what can they do...]
... Oh! How do you feel about stories?
no subject
What were you thinking? Did you want to go somewhere in particular?
no subject
[Ange nods firmly--the last thing she seems to want to do is make Elsa even more uncomfortable. This is supposed to set her at ease...!!]
Shall we find a quiet place in the forest?
