[Ange has been sleeping in a pile of leaves, blind, all week long. This means that when she is suddenly not in a pile of leaves... she's not really ready for it?
She rolls over.
And she rolls right off the top bunk. She actually manages to catch herself at first, some half-asleep instinct catching the edge of the bed with her fingertips--
And then she falls anyway. It's not a long drop, so she's not hurt, but that was definitely a pretty loud thump.
[She'll rouse, just enough to poke up her head from the bottom bunk where she has multiple plushies collected, squinting blearily.
A blink. Oh.]
Ange-chan...
Ah, hey, are you okay?
[She seems just slightly surprised, concern tinting her features as she quietly slips out of her bed. Her PJs are so pink... but she's still barefootedly coming over to make sure Ange isn't hurt!!]
[Ange at least looks more flustered than anything, brushing herself off--but then she blinks at Hikaru as she gets out of bed.
And blinks.
And brightens immediately.]
Hikaru! I... I can see you!
[Yeah, Ange is jumping up and heading on over to hold her hands excitedly. She knew that they would likely get their senses back, but after a week of that, she is so excited to see Hikaru's face again.]
[Ange should probably not let this fourteen year old girl protect her on her own, but!! Well!! Hikaru seems very confident, so obediently, she steps back.]
[She'll stay in a defensive pose as she approaches, before reaching out to prod at the nearest bubble with the broad side of her sword.
It bursts, and both will watch a memory, of fire that didn't burn, of a god and a battle and of staying on her feet despite her wounds, of wanting only to protect her loved ones.
Outside a flinch at the fresh pain of the hand grasped tightly at her throat... Hikaru herself doesn't seem to react much at all.]
Hey, what... what was that?
[Her sword is lowered for a moment, confused but just barely.]
Ange-chan, are you alright??? Did you see anything weird?
[The memory is absolutely, without a doubt, intense. Ange can do nothing but stand there and try to take it all in. The flames, the battle, Hikaru's injuries--but also her certainty, her devotion to her friends, her intense determination to do what was right...
When the entire memory is done, Ange just has a hand pressed to her heart, her eyes wide as she stares at Hikaru.
And then... she smiles a little, shaking her head.]
I... I wonder what it is I saw. A memory, or... something that happened, once...?
But either way, you... are such an amazing person, Hikaru. I'm so, so glad you were able to save your friends. [And stay true to herself the entire time she did so, with all of her strength of heart.]
[There's an odd look that falls over the redhead as Ange talks, her eyes clouding, as though it's hard to understand everything from her name onwards.]
You don't need to say anything like that. All I did was pop a bubble. I'm glad you're okay, though! [she has clearly missed something here]
Did you see a memory of your own? Was it a nice one?
week 4, monday

GOOD MORNING HIKARU.]

Yeah, I'm right here, Ange. They finally gave you your sight back, huh? [She'll give a careful smile.]
You're okay? Does anything hurt???
no subject
[Ange still seems over the moon, but she calms down a bit at how subdued Hikaru seems.]
Are you all right yourself...?
no subject
[It's said sincerely enough. Maybe she just slept really well?
...
She'll pause for a second, squinting past Ange to an unseen spot behind her further into the room.]
Um... Hey, Ange-chan. [Just. Calmly pointing over her shoulder.] Do you see those?
[They're... bubbles? No, not quite. What... ARE those???]
no subject
[Ange blinks, and looks over her shoulder at... that.
... No really what is that.]
... Are those bubbles...? I... hope they aren't dangerous--
[They are just casually floating over, though, so they Can't Avoid Them now.]

Her brow tightens, eyes hardening just a little as she slowly climbs to her feet and reaches for her sword.]
Stay behind me. I'm gonna check.

... Please be careful.

... And yet... maybe it is a memory thing, too.
Ange shakes her head quietly.]
No... um, I believe I saw one of your memories. But if I had to say if it was a nice one or not...
Yes, I think it was. It was quite a nice memory.
