[HEY CLAUDE it's fantasy week and Ange is wandering all around fantasyland taking in the sights. She has a bird nesting in her hair, but it doesn't really move much as she lifts a hand to wave.]
[Ange giggles at that. A cute and feisty deer... fitting.]
Truly...? A place like this is familiar to you?
Your world must be amazing. I have never seen anything quite like all of this. Though admittedly... I suppose my world has been rather small before all of this. [Like, her personal world that she understood.]
Hmm... (He hums to himself. Amazing, huh?) It is, but probably for different reasons than you would think.
I've never quite been to a castle like this... but fancy estates? Grand halls? They're all the same after awhile.
(How interesting, though. He gets what she means! The world is a big place and you'd have to really live in a bubble to not realize how literally big it is but it's easy for one's personal world to small,)
The world is huge and there are all sorts of people living in it. The more places you see and people you meet, the broader your perspectives become and the better you can be.
(He believes it!! It's also his dream to see more of the world, too.)
... There's nothing wrong with finding something good in a poor situation. This place is terrible but I've met a lot of great people I never would have otherwise and you're right, I've seen many places, too.
... It is my dream, someday. That is truly my goal. So...! Hearing you say that gives me a lot of hope as well.
[She smiles at him sunnily.]
I am relieved to hear you feel the same way. I do not want to undermine how terrible things have been, but... I cannot help but feel grateful, too. I suppose... those little bits of happiness have been helping me persevere.
Do what you have to to live each day. That's what I think.
(Find the good, hold onto hope... those are sweet things to hold onto. Of course there are other things too, less kind and much darker and he lets his voice trail some, thoughtful as he considers Ange for a moment but moves on,)
... What is your world like, Ange? Do you remember it?
Week 5, Tuesday
Mister Claude...! Hello!
It is good to see you!
no subject
Ange! Please, just Claude will do. (No need to be so formal?) It's good to see you around. Enjoying the sights?

[The tiny deer is so cute and she is immediately distracted by it.]
Aw, Claude, your deer is adorable!
no subject
(And the deer butts him in the leg.)
Sorry, sorry. Don't take it so personally.
(As for this place being magical, though?)
Hmm... yeah, that sounds about right. This place feels kind of familiar to me, actually. Not exactly the same but similar enough.

Didn't get out much back home?
no subject
Yes... that is correct. I haven't seen much outside of the school, if I am perfectly honest.
But I would love to travel more.
[She pauses contemplatively.]
This place has been... horrible, and terrible. But... I am so grateful for what a variety of places I've been able to see, too...!

(Travel more.)

Ange just nods at that, with a smile that looks both sheepish and awkward.]
I do...! Um, I still remember most of it. It is... [...] ... sometimes bleak, back home.
There are many walls that have been built up between people of different statuses.
