[Well. That happened. Ange looks more shellshocked than anything, but on her way back to her room she sees Raven there on the couch.

Mister Raven. Do you mind if we speak for a moment?

[He looked like he was gonna doze off where he's sat, maybe, but he perks up at Ange's presence.]

[Does this hit different after his strip search stunt? Anyway it's fine probably.]

[he gets a pass because she assumes he was trying to catch a murderer probably.]

... Are you all right after all of that? I'm sorry for waking you if you were about to sleep.

Nah, it's better ya woke me up, if I sleep here I'll be sore in the morning.
[But for now he's straightening up, alert and fully awake.]

That's nice of ya to say, Ange, but I'm tellin' ya, I'm fine. I'm not leapin' at the chance to die, I just wanna make sure you kids stay safe.

[she inspects him for a moment... and then nods firmly to herself.]

They should probably talk in depth more but honestly, the moment Ange sees him she's turning on her heel to walk away. Ange is so bad at feelings.

Anyway thankfully it'd probably be pretty easy to stop her and/or catch up because she's exhausted and still walking on broken bones/etc.]

[Honestly Raven doesn't love forcing people to talk that don't want to. Because he is often the one who doesn't want to and he hates being forced to!! But he also knows sometimes it is for their own good.]

And just where do ya think yer running off to?
[Just challenging his best impression of the Don because he was better at this sort of thing than Raven is.]

[Raven is extremely valid, Ange can't always just run away from her problems!!!

Still, the fact that she stops probably says enough--if she truly wasn't willing to have this chat, she would've kept going.

[WELL HE WAS SURE HOPING IT WASN'T THAT ONE. He sighs.]

Who are you referring to?

Schwann. People thought he was a war hero but that was a lie. He just existed to be the commandants sword and kill anyone who stood in his way. So he never bothered having any feelings that'd make that hard.

[Surprise, Schwann was basically an assassin.]
